LAS-SI User Agreement
Version 2026-10-13. This is the agreement presented to users in LAS-SI.
Who provides LAS-SI and what this agreement covers
LAS-SI is developed under the LAS-SI Corp brand. The service is currently provided by its individual operator in the United Arab Emirates. In this agreement, ‘LAS-SI’ means the software and related service, and ‘the operator’ means that current individual operator.
This agreement applies to your use of the LAS-SI web portal and desktop application. It takes effect for you when you select the agreement checkbox and choose the acceptance button. Your workspace organisation may have additional policies governing its information and your employment or engagement. Those policies do not remove rights or obligations imposed by law.
Your account and authority
LAS-SI is intended for authorised adult business users. You must be at least 18, have legal capacity to accept this agreement, and have permission to use your assigned workspace, its records and any connected accounts. Accepting as a user does not, by itself, make you a representative authorised to bind your employer to a separate commercial contract.
Use your own account, keep your credentials and devices secure, and do not share access or circumvent permissions. Tell your workspace administrator promptly if access is no longer appropriate or you suspect compromise. Your access is limited to the roles and workspaces assigned to you.
Permitted use and ownership
The operator grants you a limited, non-exclusive right to use LAS-SI for the business activities authorised by your workspace while your access remains active. The software, brand and interface remain the property of their respective rights holders. Your organisation and other rights holders retain their rights in the information they supply; this agreement does not transfer ownership of their business records to the operator.
Do not use LAS-SI for unlawful communications, harassment, impersonation, unauthorised surveillance, infringement, malware, unauthorised access or attempts to defeat security controls. Do not access another workspace’s information, misrepresent research findings, or use information or connected accounts without the necessary authority. Follow applicable outreach, marketing, privacy and intellectual-property rules.
Research, AI and human review
LAS-SI can organise accounts, research people and businesses, enrich contact information, prepare text, assist with conversations and display business activity. Research and AI-generated material can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or unsuitable. A verification label from a data provider is not a guarantee of identity, current employment, permission to contact someone or commercial suitability.
You are responsible for reviewing facts, recipients, brand, claims, attachments, tone and permissions before relying on results or authorising communications. Apply appropriate supervision to automation and review exceptions. LAS-SI does not replace professional judgement or qualified legal, financial or other regulated advice, and does not guarantee leads, replies, sales or any other business outcome.
Connected services and automation
Only connect a mailbox, calendar, research service or other account that you are authorised to use. Features depend on the permissions granted, the provider’s availability and your workspace configuration. Requests and relevant content may pass to those services. Their own terms, charges, limits and privacy arrangements also apply.
Where an authorised user enables an automated workflow, LAS-SI may research, prepare drafts, process connected information or send communications according to that workflow’s settings and permissions. Do not assume that every automated action waits for a separate review of each item. Check recipients, scope, sender, schedule and limits before enabling a workflow, and monitor it while it runs.
You can use the available controls or contact your workspace administrator to stop future work or revoke a connection. An action already submitted to a provider may be impossible to cancel, and disconnecting or signing out does not recall messages or automatically remove previously saved records. Acceptance of this agreement does not itself connect a service, enable automation or authorise a particular communication.
Business information and confidentiality
Provide only information that you and your organisation are entitled to process for the intended purpose. Keep uploads and research inputs relevant and proportionate. Do not submit passwords, secret access keys, or sensitive personal information into ordinary notes or AI prompts; use designated connection controls for authorised credentials.
Workspace records may be visible to authorised colleagues according to their roles. The operator and authorised technical personnel may need access to maintain the service, investigate faults or security incidents, and provide requested support. Treat information you can access as confidential where its nature or your organisation’s rules require it. These responsibilities also continue after your access ends.
How information is handled
The service processes account and profile details, workspace permissions and preferences, business contacts, research, drafts, activity records and content made available through enabled mail, calendar and other connections. Depending on the feature, this can include message content, recipients, meeting information and files. It also maintains authentication, operational and security records, and a record of your acceptance containing your account identifier, agreement version, text fingerprint and acceptance time.
LAS-SI uses this information to provide the requested features, synchronise connected activity, administer access, support users, investigate problems and protect the service. The desktop app connects to the existing online workspace. Installing it does not create an independent private copy of the workspace or change who is authorised to access its records. The app and browser may retain session information and local cached content; exported files remain on the device or destination you choose.
Hosting, email, calendar, enrichment and AI providers may receive information needed for enabled features. Processing may take place outside the United Arab Emirates depending on the provider and configuration. Ask the operator through your workspace administrator for the current provider and transfer details before using a feature with information subject to special restrictions.
Signing out, uninstalling the app or disconnecting a provider does not by itself erase server records or backups. Retention and deletion depend on the purpose of the record, the organisation’s requirements and applicable legal obligations. Requests concerning access, correction, deletion, restricted processing, objections or the withdrawal of consent where consent is the applicable basis should be directed to the operator through your workspace administrator. Identity and authority may need to be verified; lawful retention duties and other people’s rights may affect what can be removed.
This information is not a blanket consent to every use of personal data. Accepting the agreement does not provide consent on behalf of contacts, colleagues or other individuals, waive privacy rights, or replace any further notices or consents required for a particular feature. The operator and the relevant workspace organisation remain responsible for their respective obligations under applicable data-protection law.
Security, availability and changes to the service
The operator will take reasonable measures appropriate to the service to protect its operation and information. No software, device or internet service can be guaranteed free of error, interruption or unauthorised access. Maintain appropriate device protection, use the available security controls and keep independent copies of important information where your organisation permits this.
LAS-SI is provided on an ‘as available’ basis. Maintenance, faults, network outages, provider changes or security work may interrupt or alter features. Except for obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded or a separate written commitment, there is no promise of uninterrupted availability, error-free output, fitness for a particular purpose or a particular recovery time. These qualifications do not remove the operator’s legal duties.
Responsibility and limits of liability
You remain responsible for the lawful business decisions, information and instructions you supply, and for actions you knowingly authorise within your control. This does not make you responsible for the operator’s own wrongdoing or remove obligations imposed on the operator by law.
Only to the extent permitted by applicable law, and subject to the protections in the next paragraph, the operator excludes contractual liability for indirect or consequential loss and for lost profits, revenue, expected savings or business opportunities arising from use or unavailability of LAS-SI.
Nothing in this agreement excludes or reduces liability for a harmful act where that exclusion or reduction is prohibited, for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross fault, or for death or personal injury where liability cannot lawfully be limited. It does not restrict mandatory privacy, consumer, employment or other statutory rights, a court’s mandatory powers, or any other liability that the law does not allow the parties to exclude or limit.
Suspension, leaving and records
The operator or your authorised workspace administrator may restrict or end access where your authority ends, a material breach occurs, security or legal requirements make this necessary, or the service is discontinued. Where practical and lawful, you will be told the reason and given an opportunity to address a remediable breach. Urgent protective action may be taken without advance notice.
You may stop using LAS-SI and request closure of your access through your workspace administrator. Arrange any authorised export and handling of business records with your organisation. Ending access does not transfer ownership of its records, erase them automatically or undo completed provider actions. Obligations and rights intended to continue, including confidentiality, lawful retention and responsibility for earlier acts, survive the end of access.
Updates, law and questions
Material changes to this agreement will be presented with a new version for your acceptance before they govern your continued use. They do not retrospectively alter responsibility for earlier conduct. A later transfer of the service to a new operator must identify the actual new party and follow applicable law.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, subject to any mandatory rules that apply. Disputes are for the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, without restricting any mandatory right to another court or regulator. If a provision is unenforceable, it will apply only to the lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue where legally possible.
For questions about this agreement, service access, privacy requests or a security concern, contact the current individual operator through the workspace administrator who arranged your access.
